The National Building Code Development Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways issued the Memorandum Circular No. 2, series 2011 requiring a Construction Safety and Health Program in building Permit application.
This memorandum ensure the safety and health of our construction workers during the construction of building and related structures and pursuant to Section 104 and 203 of the National Building Code (PD 1096) and Department of Labor and Employment Department Order No. 13 series of 1998 (Guidelines Governing Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry).
Relative to this, the UAP in coordination with Occupational Safety and Health Center of the Department of Labor and Employment will conduct a 5-day Seminar Workshop on Construction Occupational Safety and Health for Architects as prescribed training course for Site Safety Officer and later be an Accredited Construction Occupational Saftey and Health Officer. The said event will be held on November 14-18, 2011 at UAP Center for Career Development at UAP National Headquarters Building, No. 53 Scout Rallos Street, Diliman, Quezon City.
The Seminar and Training Fee of P8,000.00 is inclusive of Training Manual, CD, Snacks, Lunch and Certificate of Completion.
