The Office of the National President recently issued Memorandum Circular No. 33, s. 2011 concerning the 2011-2012 UAP National Awards, to wit: UAP Best Chapter Awards, UAP Meritorious Chapter Projects Awards, UAP Most Outstanding Individual Members Awards. For this current Fiscal Year, the UAP National established additional two new awards, the Best New Chapter Award and the Best Foreign Chapter Awards.
A. UAP BEST CHAPTER AWARDS (For Guidelines and Procedures, click here)
This award aims to honor UAP chapters for their outstanding performance in providing services to the profession, the professional, the professional organization, and the professional product.
B. UAP MERITORIOUS CHAPTER PROJECTS AWARDS (For Guidelines and Procedures, please click here)
This award aims to honor outstanding projects or programs by individual UAP chapters.
Meritorious Chapter Projects Awards are categorized into:
- Best UAP Public Relations Program Award
- Best Professional Development Program Award
- Best Civic Involvement Program Award
- Best UAP National Architecture Week Award
- Best Joint Program by a Group of UAP Chapters Award
C. UAP MOST OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AWARDS (For Guidelines and Procedures, please click here)
This award aims to honor UAP members for their outstanding services to the profession, the professional, and the professional organization.
Most Outstanding Individual Members Awards are categorized into:
- Most Outstanding UAP Chapter President
- Most Outstanding UAP Regular Member
- Most Outstanding UAP New Member
For this current Fiscal Year, the UAP National established additional two new awards, the Best New Chapter Award and the Best Foreign Chapter Awards, to wit:
D. BEST NEW CHAPTER AWARD (For Guidelines and Procedures, please click here)
This award aims to recognize newly formed UAP chapters for their outstanding performance in providing services to the profession, the professional, the professional organization, and the professional product. Newly-formed UAP chapters that are not more than three (3) years old, from the date of its inception, until December 31, 2011 are eligible to join.
E. BEST FOREIGN CHAPTER AWARD (For Guidelines and Procedures, please click here)
The UAP Best Foreign Chapter Award is given to UAP chapters based in other countries, for their outstanding performance in providing services to the profession, the professional, the professional organization, and the professional product.
Subject to endorsement from Area Councils (as Area level finalist), the Best Chapter, Meritorious Chapter Projects, Most Outstanding Individual Members Awards will recognize services and achievements including outstanding projects for the period covering from July 1, 2011 to February 1, 2012. Finalists from Area levels are expected to submit their bids to the UAP National Committtee on or before March 15, 2012 7:00 PM at the UAP National Headquarters.
Meanwhile, the Best New Chapter and Best Foreign Chapter Awards (which are not subject to Area level) will recognize services and achievements including outstanding projects for the period covering from March 15, 2011 to March 15, 2012. Bids should be submitted to the UAP National Committtee on or before March 15, 2012 7:00 PM at the UAP National Headquarters.
