ARKILYMPICS 2018


BASKETBALL, BADMINTON, BOWLING, BILLIARDS
11April 2017, Wednesday. 8:00 am– 5:00pm
Venue: QUEZON CITY SPORTS CLUB
E. Rodriguez Sr. Blvd. Quezon City


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. All Arkilympics participants must be a UAP member in good standing
2. Must have paid the National Convention Fee
3. Must be listed in the official team roster of their respective areas
4. Must have paid the tournament fee of Php 300
5. Deadline for the submission of players shall be on March 27,2018
6. On-site registration of players will not be allowed
7. Snacks and lunch will be provided by the organizers
8. Assembly time will be at 7:30AM – April 11, 2018 (venue: QSQC)
9. One muse shall be provided by each during the opening ceremony


AWARDS and PRIZES
Team Trophy – Most win points per sports
Medals – Event winners (1st and 2nd Place)
Perpetual Trophy – Area over-all champion
Arkilympics 2018 Best Muse – Trophy


TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

BADMINTION TOURNAMENT
1. One team per area is allowed
2. Each team shall have a total of eight (8) players and shall be grouped into four (4) pairs
3. Full Round Robin competition shall be implemented
4. There will be NO eliminations, semis and final rounds
5. The pair with the most wins shall be declared the champion
6. In case of a two-way tie, the “winner-over-the-other” rule shall be applied

BOWLING TOURNAMENT
1. Game format – only a six (6) game series
2. Games 1&2 – Trio event (mixed)
3. Games 3&4 – Doubles (mixed)
4. Games 5&6 – Singles
5. Six (6) Bowlers per team

BILLIARDS TOURNAMENT
1. Game format – 3 game format with singles and double pairing
    (1) 9 Ball (Singles) – 2 Players Per Team
    (2) 10-Ball (Singles) – 2 Players per team
    (3) 8 Ball (Scotch –Doubles – 1 pair per team
2. Each team shall have a total of Six (6) players
3. Each game shall be a race to three games except for championship games
4. Ladder type knockout system will be used
5. Final guidelines will be provided during the tournament event

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
1. Each area shall be composed of twelve (12) players per team
2. Knock out system shall be implemented and rankings will determine for the championship depending on time
3. The top two teams will advance to the finals if no cross over games
4. The remaining teams will compete for the 3rd and 4th place if time permits
