FY 2017-2018 remarkably complied with the Medium Term Plan

Special Committee on Long Range Plan under the chairmanship of Arch. Lora B. Rivera, FUAP, ASEAN Architect reported that the UAP Plans and Programs for the Year 2017-2018 were remarkably implemented consistent with the priorities and main concerns outlined in the Medium Term 2016-2020. 

According to the report, 18 out of 21 programs were focused on, addressed and undertaken and are at various stages of implementation. 

The 2009 UAP By-laws tasks the LRP Committee to regularly confirm or verify that the policies, actions and actual implementation of work programs and action plans for the four (4) major aspects of architecture, namely, the  profession, professional, professional, professional product, are consistent with the priorities outlined in the 10-Year Long Range Plan approved by the UAP. Also, the committee has the responsibility to  monitor the progress of actions against the time-table or work program and report or address any significant variations, review the concerns strategies under the four (4) major aspects of architecture such as the “profession”, “professional”, “professional organization” and “professional product” every 3 to 5 years or sooner if survey or monitoring work programs identify the need for revision and prepare position statement among others, on the level of implementation of the objectives, plans, programs and the outcomes/results achieved (including any significant variations that may require changes to implementation time-table).
