SecGen Rene Heray gives inspiring message at Fairbuilding Awards 2018

UAP Secretary General Architect Renato A. Heray addressed the leaders in the construction industry with words of inspiration and encouragement during the Fairbuilding Awards 2018 held at Makati Diamond Hotel last April 19, 2018. Known as the "Father of CSR Projects Initiatives in UAP", Architect Heray stressed the importance of corporate social responsibility as he believes that the right way to go is to integrate CSR into the business strategies in order to be competitive and to build long-term relationships with employees, customers, and consumers, as well as contributing to a better development within society.

FairBuilding Network Awards are bestowed annually on Building Industry Gold Partners of the FairBuilding Network, who have shown their commitment to corporate social responsibility by providing products and services at special discounts for projects of FairBuilding that exclusively benefit the poor. Over 50,000 families stand to enjoy social housing developed by NGOs who have partnered with FairBuilding.

Dedicated to the mission of overcoming poverty one project at a time, the FairBuilding Network brings together willing buyers and sellers in a neglected segment of the construction market. It identifies and highlights projects developed by local non-governmental organisations (NGOs), local government units and social housing developers that are normally off the radar of the mainstream building industry.
